IMECC and Two Major Russian Scientific Research Institutions Promote the Medical Innovation and Development of China and Russia

November is a fruitful month as IMECC's international medical exchanges and cooperation have achieved remarkable results. China-Russia non-government medical international exchanges and cooperation started a new chapter in the beautiful One Belt and One Road Strategic c ity of Haikou!

IMECC delegation conducted deep conversation in Haikou and reached a number of cooperation consensus in the fields of Aging Medical Care, Traditional Chinese Medicine Research and Development, Medical and Health Education and Training, Talent Exchange and Cooperation, Medical Institution Co-construction and other aspects with Viktor Fersht, Directo r of International Department of the President Special Projects Foundation of the K remlin, Director and Professor of the International Department of the Biomed Center of M oscow State University, Valeriya Gribova, Deputy Director of Institute of Automation & C ontrol Process of Russian Academy of Sciences, and President of Artificial Intelligence Association, Aleksandr Aleksandrov, Director-general of the Technical Innovation Center of the Russian Federation (Project Promotion Center of Russian Academy of Sciences), Dmitr y Edelev, Director of Biomed Center of Moscow State University and Natalia Mayorova, Dep uty Director of Biomed Center of Moscow State University.

Russia Promotes the Development of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Artificial Intelligence
Viktor Fersht expressed that Russia has been committed to research in the fields of artificial intelligence and biomedicine. Scientific researchers from Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow State University and Sain t-Petersburg State University will be able to participate in supporting IMECC’s proj ects in Haikou. At present, Moscow State University and Russian Academy of Sciences are working together on biomedical and traditional Chinese medicine research projects which combine artificial intel ligence technology for treatment and diagnosis. Hainan Province has rich resources of traditional Chinese medicine plants which can be perfectly combined with the artificial intelligence of Russia so that it will achieve better development by using scientific and technological methods.  In the future,   Lingang Group, Haikou government and IMECC will jointly carry out project cooperation in both Haikou ci ty and Asia-Pacific region to have a new stage of scientific and technological development of Haikou.

The Cooperation P ossibility between Chinese Non-government M edical I nstitutions and Russian Medical Services
During the meeting with Russian delegation, Ching Manho, Executive Deputy Director and Secretary-General of IMECC, indicated that Chinese Non-government Medical Institutions Association (CNMIA) is a national first-level organization with the mission of deepening the reform of Chinese medical and health system and promoting the innovation and development of non-government medical institutions. As a specialized committee for the international medical exchanges and cooperation of CNMIA, IMECC is carrying out international medical exchange, scientific research and strategic cooperation in the whole world, including setting up oversea offices, cooperating with top international medical institutions such as the Mayo Clinic and the Cleveland Clinic, to jointly build international branches with Chinese characteristics. IMECC also cooperate with well-known universities in the world to jointly establish schools and training centers. Chinese medical treatment is going through a fast development. In 2018, there were 520,000 non-government medical institutions while the number has grown into nearly 600,000 in 2019. With 7-8 new hospitals and more than 100 clinics opening every day, we can foresee the unlimited market value and vast development potential of Chinese non-government medical career.

At present, Chinese Non-government Medical Institutions Association, as a partner of Shanghai Lin-gang Group, is participating in the development plan of medical industry sector of China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone Lin-gang Special Area. IMECC hoped that Russian delegation can participate in the international development of 520,000 Chinese non-government medical institutions so that the two parties can complement each other's advantages to achieve a global consensus for healthcare.

IMECC and Russian Delegation Reached Strategic Cooperation Agreement
At this meeting, Russia delegation expressed the strong willingness to cooperate with Chinese Non-government Medical Institutions Association and quickly reached a number of agreements of strategic cooperation with IMECC.

Main Points of Cooperation between Russian Delegation and IMECC
1, Cooperation in medical care for the elderly
Under the framework of the ten-year development plan for aging society launched by the World Health Organization, the two parties will jointly promote cooperation in scientific research, resources, projects, talents and other aspects of medical care for the elderly among China, Russia and Asia-Pacific region.

2, Cooperation for the development of traditional Chinese medical science
The two parties will work together to promote cooperation of traditional Chinese medicine between China and the rest of the world. The two parties plan to establish a cooperative research base of traditional Chinese medicine in the Science and Technology Park of Shanghai Lin-gang Group in Haikou.

3. Cooperation in healthcare education
The two parties will work together to promote the international education of healthcare, connect with the top health and medical experts worldwide, and practice distance learning with advanced Internet technologies

4. Cooperation in technology innovation
The two parties will establish international project center of medical science innovation to realize technology transformation, accelerated project incubation, technology transfer, etc.

5. Talent exchanges and cooperation
The two parties will jointly promote medical personnel exchanges between China and the rest of the world.

Chinese medical career is communicating with the world at an unprecedented speed of development, and Chinese medical market is also talking with the world with an open mind. IMECC will continue to promote the international development of Chinese Non-government medical career and will be a pioneer of Health China 2030. IMECC will continue the international medical exchanges and cooperation with the world.
